Well, that was a fun run.

After 11 years of helping Laurier students buy/sell used textbooks and find rental listings, it's time to close our virtual doors.

What started as a fun side-project, HawkSwap grew larger than I ever could've hoped for. Thousands of students joined and created listings - even long after I graduated.

Technology is constantly evolving though, and while the site survived for years with almost no maintenance, it was in need of a major refresh.

Since I'm no longer in the position to tackle such a large undertaking, I feel like this is a good time to let it take a rest and see the sunset.

Thank you Laurier for allowing this to grow into something special.

I have no doubt that someone in the community is already working on something far better :)
